[Spotlight] —Bobbi Smith's "Half-Breed's Lady"

Do you recall those risqué historical romance novels that our mothers used to read? You know, the ones with a stunning woman and a chiseled male in a passionate embrace on the cover? My mother used to have a ton of these paperbacks when I was a kid, and because I'm a bookworm, I eventually read a couple of them out of boredom.

I'm deviating from my own rule of not publishing spotlights. As you might have guessed from the title of this post, I'm spotlighting Half-Breed's Lady by Bobbi Smith. It's the sixth book in the Women Ahead of Their Times series, and it also happens to have one of those risqué covers. It's evident that romance book covers have changed throughout the years, for better or worse—you decide. In my opinion, those earlier covers stand out from the mass in contrast to the more recent and uninteresting ones.
