The older I get, the less fireworks interest me, so I would rather be reading on the 4th of July. Plus, fireworks make loud noises, and I hate noises.

I still enjoy watching fireworks myself. They're kind of "rare" in that you don't get to see them all that much. Plus, I'm more of day reader anyway, so it's a good balance! Lol.

ReplyDeleteI don't like fireworks, never did. So I would rather be reading for sure!
ReplyDeleteIt gets very loud around where I live because of the illegal fireworks people shoot off. Even with the high fine, they aren't deterred sadly. I do like a good professional show now and then though--it's just been a couple or so years since we saw one on the 4th.
