No, I don't personally remember anything from my first library visit, though my mother has said that it took me forever to pick out a picture book because I wanted to look at all the books there.

ReplyDeleteI remember being like that all the time when I went to Borders. My memories of the libraries are sparse but I do remember a lot of visits to my school libraries.

ReplyDeleteI don't either. I remember when my sister was younger taking so long to chose a book that they started to turn off the lights and close the library 🤣
ReplyDeleteI don't remember specifics about my earliest visits, but remember the library spaces very well. This was a good question to ponder!
ReplyDeleteI don't, and I doubt my mom does either, lol. But I know she tried to encourage reading from a young age, for which I am grateful.
