"Elim Garak. Cris, he was a Cardassian ambassador to the Federation for years!" She called up the relevant dates."
page 56, "Star Trek: Picard: Second Self" by Una McCormack
My Thoughts
I hadn't realized it had been nearly ten months since I last participated in The Friday 56. Man, how the time flies. Anyhoo, I'm currently reading Star Trek: Picard: Second Self by Una McCormack. To be precise, I'm on Chapter 4, or, to be even more precise, page 67; though, I might've read more of it by the time everyone sees this post. The protagonist is Raffi Musiker, a character I didn't care much for in the television series. It's a slow burn, and I'm beginning to get interested in the plot, which connects back to the Dominion War (the multi-season war in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine).
Love Picard!! Never read a Star Trek book though. Maybe one day, but in reality, probably not. I'm more a thriller girl than sci-fi, and for some reason if there's a tv show or movie involved I'm less inclined to read it.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend, and thanks for joining in again!!
DeleteStar Trek is more of a niche, and there are over 850 "official" books.
