Billy's Answer
Nope. It seems kind of pointless to me. If I had a physical book, I would just read the physical book. Audiobooks are overly long. I can speed read multiple books at the same time it takes to listen to one audiobook.

I don't listen to audiobooks, so I don't follow along while I listen. I just read the paper/digital copy.
ReplyDeleteI don't listen to audiobooks. I prefer to read to myself.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!

I'm with you, it's completely pointless.
ReplyDeleteI don’t either. But I will pick up the physical copy if I have one and read it when I can’t listen to the audiobook (like at work)
ReplyDeleteI'm a slow reader, but it also takes me a long time to listen to audiobooks because I don't listen to them for long periods of time each day. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteYeah.. I don't really understand why you would listen & read the same book. Seems kinda redundant to me.
ReplyDeleteI love audiobooks but never follow along with the print.
ReplyDeleteI'm not an audio reader either. It would seem pricey to buy both and read, especially if I ended up being meh over the book or even the narrator. I'm totally a read the real book kind of reader!
ReplyDeleteHere's my BBH
Have a GREAT day!

When I listen to audiobooks, it's because I'm trying to multitask. So no, I don't read along with an audiobook. It would be good for someone working on phonics skills or someone trying to study a text though!
ReplyDeleteI've only listened to a few audio books, and I did not follow along with the print version. I much prefer the "unspoken" formats and leave the nuances to my imagination.
ReplyDeleteWould drive me crazy to follow along...
