{Sunday Post} - Bad Luck and Trouble, Malicious Intent, and Say Goodbye

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer!

Good Morning, Everyone!

What Am I Reading?

Currently, I'm on page 239 (Chapter 73) of Steal by James Patterson and Howard Bouchhan, the same book I mentioned in last week's post. I didn't get around to starting it until Tuesday afternoon. So far, it's not too shabby, definitely one of Patterson's better stories.

Next, I want to read Delayed Rays of a Star by Amanda Lee Koe. I had picked it up at a Dollar Tree for $1.25 a few weeks ago.

On my Kindle, I have half of the Strangers at Collins House read. Then, I will move on to The Curse of Collinwood, the fifth book in the Dark Shadows series. What happened to the fourth book, The Mystery of Collinwood? For some reason, the fourth and sixth installments aren't available on Kindle.

Recent Reviews

Sorry, I didn't feel like writing reviews this past week. Between my second canker sore of the month and returning nasal congestion, I didn't have the motivation (or energy) to write.

What's in the Mail?

Revell sent over Malicious Intent by Lynn H. Blackburn, which arrived in the mailbox yesterday. Unlike the last book they'd sent me by mistake, I signed up to review this one.

What's New On The Bookshelf?

I don't remember what day it was, but I stopped by the local thrift store and picked up two Jack Reacher titles - Nothing to Lose and Bad Luck and Trouble. Here's the thing, I have a list of Jack Reacher titles that I need on my smartphone but had forgotten to bring it with me. I knew I didn't have Bad Luck and Trouble, but I couldn't remember if I had Nothing to Lose. Paperbacks are only ten cents, so I got Nothing to Lose just in case. When I got home, I found out that I already had a copy. At least I'm only out ten cents.

Does anybody read Karen Rose thrillers? Last year, I bought Say No More on a whim, which I have never read yet, and this week I grabbed Say Goodbye. I'm guessing it's a sequel to Say No More. Right?

  4. We have a DAV store where paperbacks are only 10 cents as well! I love going in there and seeing what people have given away. But alas, we're moving so no more stacking the shelves for me at this moment. Happy reading. My first round up is up - http://www.lyndonperrywriter.com/2022/02/sunday-post-weekly-roundup.html
