Were those zombie kids back in the cornfield? Had they seen me? Were they waiting for me?

My Thoughts

The newest Goosebumps book arrived in the mail yesterday. The cover is one of the creepiest in the franchise. I'll be reading it sometime over the weekend.

  1. I used to read Goosebumps. It's been a while since I picked up any of the books, so I'm not familiar with the more recent titles. This one looks interesting.

    1. Fifth-Grade Zombies is the 14th book in the newest series. I've been collecting Goosebumps & Fear Street books since I was a little bitty kid in the '90s.

  2. I had no idea Goosebumps books were still being published! I remember they used to terrify me as a kid (at one point I had to remove one of the books from my bookshelf as I could see the spine when trying to sleep!), but my cousins loved them.

    1. Oh yeah, R.L. Stine is still writing Goosebumps books. He releases three or four new titles a year.

    1. The Goosebumps books are written for middle graders, though plenty of older kids and adults read them too.

  6. Slappy was one of the scariest Goosebumps characters - happy reading!
