Billy's Answer
Nope. I very seldom see anyone reading a printed book anymore. Even if I did see someone reading, I would never even speak or approach them because there are a lot rude individuals living in my neck of the woods. It's best just to mine my own business.

I feel like I might. But on several circumstances; have I read the book, do I remember the book, did I like it? Most importantly is that I get the sense that they wouldn't mind someone interrupting them. Which most likely would be me not interrupting them. Or if they happen to stop reading for the moment, I would then possibly strike up a conversation if I answered yes a few times to those posing questions! Lol.
ReplyDeleteHere's my BBH
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
If I every saw someone I knew looking at a title that I've read or if I recognize the author, then I would probably start a conversation.
DeleteI agree with you! Plus I don't like being interrupted while I read so why should I interrupt anyone else?
ReplyDeleteLove the new look!
I hate being interrupted while I'm reading. When I'm reading, I get into a zone and when I'm taken out of that zone, even for a minute, it's hard to go back there.
DeleteI don't think I'd interrupt either :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, I don't like interrupt someone, especially when they're reading.
DeleteAgreed, but more because I'm shy and I wouldn't want to interrupt someone else reading!
ReplyDeleteI used to be really shy but my shyness has gotten better over the years.
DeleteYes, you do need to be careful approaching strangers.
ReplyDeleteEspecially in this day of age where everyone is so sensitive about everything.
DeleteSorry you can't approach a reader.
ReplyDeleteI do....most readers are happy to discuss the book they are reading and other books.
LOVE readers...always so friendly.
Like your new look, Billy.
I just never see anyone reading or even looking at books anymoe. Even at the library the only people I see are on the computers. At Walmart, which has a small book section, I never see anyone down the isle unless they're looking at magazines.
