An Amish Second Christmas
by Shelley Shepard Gray, Patrica Johns, and Virginia Wise

Christian authors Shelley Shepard Gray, Patrica Johns, and Virginia Wise have come together to bring us a new anthology - An Amish Second Christmas. Published by Kensington Books, the book features three romantic tales:

Their Second Chance
by Shelley Shepard Gray
New York Bestselling Author
There's no way a relationship between Amish nanny Hannah Eicher and the handsome English fireman could overcome her family's objections—and their personal differences. But when she saves her from a sudden blaze, Hannah longs to see if they can turn holiday hope into a lifetime of happiness.

His Amish Angel
by Patricia Johns
As advice columnist "Miss Amish," outspoken Maggie Lapp helps Amish and English with their romantic problems. When her tradition-minded former fiance accidentally reveals her secret, she'll need more than a miracle to make things right—and find a perfect love for all the Christmases to come . . .

An Heirloom Christmas
by Virginia Wise
Rachel Miller won't let her disability keep her from being independent. She certainly doesn't need reckless Joseph Webber working at her greenhouse—and their surprising holiday partnership might just blossom into forever joy.

Where To Purchase?

Amish romances is one of my top guilty pleasure reads and that includes the holiday titles as well, such as An Amish Second Christmas, which features three novellas. One of these stories is called Their Second Chance and is written by one of my favorite romance authors - Shelley Shepard Gray. The plot involves an Amish nanny who begins a relationship with a English firefighter after he rescues her from a fire. It's a short but a well-written heartfelt tale and it's my favorite from this anthology.

I'm not too familiar with other two authors, Patricia Johns and Virginia Wise. I believe I might have read something else by Virginia Wise but I don't think I have ever read any works by Patricia Johns before reading her novella His Amish Angel. The story centers around Maggie Lapp, an Amish woman who is secretly writing and advice column under the name "Miss Amish," where she gives Amish advice to the English. Everything is going fine until her ex-fiance learns about her secret and threatens to tell the bishop.

"An Heirloom Christmas" by Virginia Wise centers around Rachel Miller, a wheelchair bound young woman who spends most her time caring for the plants in her greenhouse. Her daily routine goes off course after parents hire Joseph Webber to help her in the greenhouse. At first Joseph is nothing more than irritating through her eyes but after awhile a surprise friendship blossoms.

Overall, I enjoyed reading all three holiday tales in "An Amish Second Christmas." They're fast-paced, cute romances that you'll want to read in one sitting. The anthology would make a great gift for any Amish fiction fan or romance reader.
