I have been suffering with insomnia for most of this week. The only good thing about this is that I have gotten several things done, including reading several books. I do have a few reviews to write tomorrow, well it's more than than a few, more like eight, and that's only book reviews. I have a few other non-books reviews to write too.
I bought the DVD Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, which I saw at the theater back in April. I didn't care much for the first film, but I thought the sequel was slightly better. Silly, but watchable. I might post a review for it when I have some free time.
Dark Shadows is playing at my local theater this weekend, and I plan on going to the Sunday matinee.
I received several books in the mail this week to review. They are: 101 Recipes for Preparing Food in Bulk by Richard Helweg; The Complete Guide to Growing Vegetables, Flowers, Fruits, and Herbs from Containers by Lizz Shepherd; Google Income by Bruce C. Brown; The Complete Guide to Google Adwords by Larisa Lambert; Hope Springs by Kim Cash Tate; Survivors by Z.A. Recht; and The Reckoning by Alma Katsu.
Question of the week: If you were to write a book, what type of book would you write?
My Answer: I have published nearly two dozen short stories for children and adults. I have a very rough draft of a young adult novel written, but I am currently working on a middle grade book in the style of R.L. Stine's Goosebumps.
