Yes, I know there are many different brands of frying pans on the market and all of them claim to be the best. The most recent ones I have seen in the stores are the organic pans, which don't contain harmful chemicals.
Early this week, I received the 8" Green Earth Pan by Ozeri in the mail. The pan is made from GREBLON ceramic coating from Germany. It is the first frying pan to achieve non-stick performance while being completely free of PTEF, PFOA and other harmful chemicals. The ceramic in the pan is scratch-resistant and the ceramic coating is eco-friendly, meaning no harmful fumes will ever be omitted.
The pan has an elevated texture that creates air packets which will help distribute heat underneath the food to enhance the cooking process. The textured patterning will help prevent food from sticking to the pan.
The 8" Green Earth Pan by Ozeri might look small, but it is great for sautéing onions, peppers and other vegetables. Plus, the size is perfect for singles (likes myself), as you can fry a couple of hamburgers, chicken breasts, salmon cakes, or whatever you desire. I've only had time to try out the pan a few times, but I have been impressed by it so far. It fried up a few eggs perfectly (only use a 1/4 teaspoon of oil) and my mushroom omelet came out great. I never had any problems with it sticking. The cleanup was extremely easy. Overall, I loved trying out the 8" Green Earth Pan by Ozeri and I think it would make a great Christmas present for someone special.
