Sunday Post: December 2, 2018

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @  Caffeinated Book Reviewer!

Good Evening, Everyone!

My Current Reads!

I still have a few more pages of Fear Street Sagas: The Last Kiss to read. After I finish it, I'll be reading the eBook The Making of Mrs. Hale by Carolyn Miller.

Reading Update

I'm still on page 78 of American Mirror: The Life and Art of Norman Rockwell. I really do need to take a few minutes everyday to read this book.

In The Mail

Books

The only fiction book I received in the mail last week was Mind Games by Nancy Mehl.

Holiday Gift Guide

I received three 365-Day Devotional Journals (Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus, Peace Begins With Me, and The Earth Is the Lord's, and Everything In It), which will be reviewed during my Holiday Gift Guide event.

Great Finds

I stopped my local thrift store yesterday. While I didn't find any good books, I did get the entire series of Emily of New Moon on DVD. I've never seen the series before, but it's based on the books written by Lucy Maud Montgomery, who also wrote the Anne of Green Gables books. Each DVD set has two seasons in it, and I only paid $.99 per set.

I genuinely cherish the thoughts and insights of my readers, and I wholeheartedly welcome your engagement. However, to foster a truly constructive dialogue, I’ll be keeping a careful eye on the comments section. This means I’ll be moderating to weed out any spammy detritus, overly harsh critiques, or contributions that don’t add anything meaningful to the conversation. Think of it as my little corner of the internet—a space where everyone can share their perspectives without the noise. Let’s make this a place where ideas can flourish and grow, rather than wither away in the shadows of irrelevance.
