The Friday 56: 'Cold Zero'

Hello, fellow Friday 56ers!

This week, my Friday 56 pick, hosted by My Head is Full of Books, is Cold Zero by Brad Thor and Ward Larsen. It's an ARC that I've had for a while, so I'm finally pushing myself to read it. I suppose I can call it my 4th of July read.

The story is about a jetliner that disappears over the North Pole and crash-lands on the ice. The survivors must battle the frigid cold and chaos. There’s an advanced prototype inside the wreckage, and now Washington, Moscow, and Beijing are racing to retrieve it at any cost.

Now, here’s a preview from page 56:

"Are there any serious injuries?"

I will do my best to get back on a reading and blogging schedule. I want to have Cold Zero read and reviewed by Monday, but we'll see how it goes. Everyone knows that if I set a specific day, it's often two or three days later. My life has been hectic this year, and blogging has taken a back seat. I'm juggling a few things and trying to get a bit more organized, so expect to see more reviews in July.
