Good Evening, Everyone!

What Am I Currently Reading?

Well, I have read one chapter of the thriller The Sinner by Petra Hammesfahr, which is a book that has been collecting dust for nearly a year.

Last Week's Reviews

(Blu-ray Review)

In The Mail

There were no new books to review in the mail last week. However, I did receive one Blu-ray and one DVD from Mill Creek Entertainment. The Blu-ray is a double feature featuring The Karate Kid Part III and The Next Karate Kid. The DVD is titled Robin Hood Origins and it features 5 classic films - The Bandit of Sherwood Forest, The Black Arrow, The Prince of Thieves, Rogues of Sherwood Forest, and Sword of Sherwood Forest. I have no idea why The Black Arrow is on this release as it has nothing to do with Robin Hood.

New On My Bookshelf

I only received one book for a Christmas this year - Dog Diaries by James Patterson and Steven Butler. It's a spinoff of the Middle School series. I don't know when I'll get around to reading it, as I have other books I wanting to read in 2019.

  1. I'm so far behind I am doing a backlist challenge this year. It's good to get to those things I really want to read. Happy New Year! Books of My Heart

I genuinely cherish the thoughts and insights of my readers, and I wholeheartedly welcome your engagement. However, to foster a truly constructive dialogue, I’ll be keeping a careful eye on the comments section. This means I’ll be moderating to weed out any spammy detritus, overly harsh critiques, or contributions that don’t add anything meaningful to the conversation. Think of it as my little corner of the internet—a space where everyone can share their perspectives without the noise. Let’s make this a place where ideas can flourish and grow, rather than wither away in the shadows of irrelevance.
