Popcorn & Coffee: Miami Vice Season One & Season Two

Not Rated; 1118 minutes; $14.98; Amazon; Mill Creek Ent.
While there are plenty of police procedures still on television, none of them are as action-packed as the 1984-1989 Miami Vice. Created by Anthony Yerkovich, the crime-drama starred Don Johnson and Phillip Michael Thomas.

From 2005 thru 2007, Universal Studios Home Entertainment released individual season sets as well as a complete series set. Last month, Mill Creek Entertainment released Miami Vice: Season One and Miami Vice: Season Two DVD sets, featuring new cover arts for the DVD jackets. There are no special features or extras on the sets.

Miami Vice centered on Miami Vice Squad detective James "Sonny" Crockett (played by Don Johnson) who witnesses the death of his partner Eddie Rivera (played Jimmy Smits) while he was investigating the Colombian drug dealer, Esteban Calderone. He teams up with a a New York narcotics detective Rafael Tubbs (played by Phillip Michael Thomas) to help him take down Calderone. Tubbs has his own personal vendetta - to avenge his brother's death. By the end of the 96-minute pilot episode, Tubbs decides to join the "Southern Law Enforcement" as Crockett's new partner.

The series is famous for using a wide-range of popular music from the 80s as well as featuring sports cars,
boats, and stylish men's fashion. The show as also known for using brand name firearms and accessories. While the series was extremely popular with audiences, it was heavily criticized for the amount of violence that was featured in each episode.

Find Out the Best Smart DNS for You

Domain Name Servers (DNS) are considered the phone books of the Internet. In fact, they maintain small or extensive directories of domain names and translate them to Internet Protocol (IP addresses). This is essential since most people simply cannot remember or keep track of their favorite domain names. Computers and machines also access websites via IP addresses, which saves a lot of time on searching for URLs and domains. With this in mind, finding the best smart DNS for your online music storage and file playing does not have to be a time-consuming and tedious affair.

Comparing DNS Servers

With the digital age upon us, there are countless DNS servers that specialize in online music files and sharing. While some are limited to the number of shares and downloads allowed – others allow users to modify settings as desired. With so many DNS servers available, however, does one select the right server application to achieve desired results? According to industry experts, it simply comes down to storage capacities and bandwidth.

In fact, these vital aspects should serve as foundations for your searches. Correlation between computers and music server sites needs to be addressed as well. For example: certain PCs may not be able to fully reap the benefits of servers with larger bandwidths. Similarly, systems with low memory settings may need upgrading to enable optimal correlation and speed. The key to downloading and uploading music files is simply sufficient speed – and the ability to bypass any server maintenance or updates happening in the background. As a result, it is important to compare existing DNS servers before making a worthwhile and informed decision.

Popcorn & Coffee: Banshee: Season 4 Digital HD

Now available to purchase on Digital HD from HBODigitalHD.com is Banshee: Season 4, the final season of the hit Cinemax action/crime series.

The series centers on an ex-con (played by Antony Starr), who had spent the last fifteen-years in prison for apparently stealing $15 million in diamonds. Now as a free man, he sets out to locate his ex-lover Anastasia Rabitov (played by Ivana Miličević) as she was the one in possession of diamonds before he went to prison. Anastasia is now living in Banshee, Pennsylvania (Amish country) under the name Carrie Hopewell, where she married and raised two children during the last fifteen-years.

With a ruthless crime boss, Rabbit' Rabitov (played by Ben Cross), hot on his trail, he takes the identity of the Banshee's newly-appointed sheriff, Lucas Hood, who was killed in a bar fight. Though the town is part of the Amish country, there is plenty of murders & crimes to keep Lucas busy.

The official "Season 4" description:

This MAX action drama charts the final twists and turns that follow Lucas Hood, an ex-convict who assumed the identity of sheriff in the Amish-area town Banshee, where his former lover and partner-in-crime was living under her own alias, Carrie Hopewell. The final season takes place two years after Lucas gave up his badge after a bloody, multimillion-dollar heist at the Camp Genoa Marine Base which proved costly: Carrie's husband Gordon was killed, and Lucas's longtime computer-hacker partner, Job, was abducted by a shady criminal ring. After settling a score with a "recruiter" from Lucas's past whom he hoped would have intel on Job, Lucas went on a bender before being rescued by an unlikely savior, Proctor's niece.
