Product Review: Back Posture Corrector Brace

Let's face the facts, many of us have bad posture (or otherwise known as slouching). There are many reasons why our upper back and shoulders begin to curb, but one of the biggest reasons is sitting at a computer desk for long stretches of time.

Your back and shoulders can be fixed pretty easily with specific exercises that focues on strengthening the upper back. I recommend using a foam roller. Another way for correcting your bad posture is to wear some sort of back brace.

For the past week, I've been testing out the Towish Posture Corrector Brace, which retails for $39.95, but is currently on sale on Amazon for $25.87. It's available in a size large (35" to 55") for men and a size small (25" to 35") for women and teens. As an added bonus it comes with a FREE Resistance Band.

Final Thoughts

Make sure to read the instructions before trying to put the brace on. While it looks simple, you have to adjust the straps to your shoulder frame, which can be a bit difficult to do and you might need help from someone else. (Tip: Slip the brace on like a backpack.) Once you get everything adjusted, it's recommended to wear the brace for about 15 minutes for the first few days or until you get used to wearing it. Personally, it was a bit odd wearing it for the first few days, but eventually I got to used to it. Now, I don't even noticed that I'm wearing it.

Does it work?

Yeah, it does! The brace easily pulls my shoulders back and keeps them there!
