Cleanse & Detox Review

Cleansing and detoxing once in a great while is great way to help your body get rid of unwanted waste and toxins. There are many different types of detox products on the market from juice fasts, coffee enemas (yes, this does exist) to dietary supplements. If you've been following this blog regularly, then you would know that I've reviewed several different detox supplements for about a year now

Last month, I was sent a bottle (60 caps) of Cleanse & Detox from The Supplement People to try out and review. One of the key ingredients in this supplement is Acia Berry, which is an base to aid the body in getting rid of toxins and harmful bacteria in the colon.

Each serving (2 caps) contains an unique proprietary blend (900mg) of:

Acia (Eurterpe oleracea) Fruit Extract
Juniper Berry
Dandelion Root
Uva Ursi
Seena Leaf
Psylium Husk
Buchu Extract
L-Carnitine
Vitamin B6

Having a clean colon can help jump-start you into losing weight, which is the main reason why I wanted to try the Cleanse & Detox dietary supplement. Despite the fact that the product claims that it isn't supposed to make you bloated, I did experience some minor bloating for the 7 days that I took this supplement last month. I had some cramping on the fourth day and I fought through it until the 7th day, when I finally decided to stop using it. Overall, the Cleanse & Detox just didn't work for me. I had plenty of water throughout the time I took this, but it didn't help any. Maybe the supplement will work for somebody else, but it didn't work for me.

You can purchase the Cleanse & Detox on Amazon.com for $24.95.
