True Synergy Turmeric Review

I've never heard of turmeric until I received a 60 capsules bottle of True Synergy Turmeric a few weeks ago to review. After a little "Google" search, I learned that turmeric has been used for thousands of years in India as a medicinal herb as a spice. Turmeric is high in curcuminoids, or otherwise known as curcumin, a very strong antioxidant that has anti-inflammatory effects.

Curcumin has been known to lower the risk of brain disease and will increase your overall brain function by increasing the Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF) as when this hormone is lowered it can cause depression and Alzheimer’s disease. It has also been known to help decrease the risk of heart disease, cancer cells and age-related chronic diseases. Plus, it can also help decrease joint and muscle pain.

True Synergy Turmeric contains 450mg of Turmeric (Curcuma longa) (root) and 50mg of Turmeric Extract (Curcuma longa) (root) - standardized to contain 95% Curcuminoids). There are no artificial color, flavor, sweetener, preservatives, sugar, starch, milk, lactose, soy, gluten, wheat, yeast, fish and sodium. It is recommended to take one capsule a day with a meal.

From time to time, I have suffered from shoulder and neck pain as well as pain from my bad knee, so of course I was interested in trying out the True Synergy Turmeric. Like I already mentioned, I have only been taking this for a few weeks, so I haven't taken it long enough to see any major results. However, I have noticed the pain in my knee has decreased during my workouts and my neck has been feeling better. Overall, the True Synergy Turmeric is pretty decent supplement.

*Disclaimer - I received a complimentary sample in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.
