Omega-3 Lemon Flavored Fish Oil Review

One of the most popular dietary supplement on the market is Omega-3 Fish Oil as it is high in EPA (Eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). There have been many studies about the supplement over the last ten years that have documented that Omega-3 Fish Oil can help prevent cardiovascular disease, stroke, cognitive aging, Alzheimer and some cancers. It can also help your overall vision & eye health, mental health, aid in weight loss and help boost the nutrients in your skin and hair.

There is heart disease in my family and even though I don't have any heart problems myself, I still have been taking a Fish Oil supplement daily for the last few years. A couple of weeks ago, I was sent a big bottle (180 soft-gels) of Omega 3 Lemon Flavored Fish Oil from EarthWell. Each serving (2 soft-gels) contains 1,5000 mg of Omega-3 Fatty Acids (EPA - 800mg, DHA 600mg, Other Omega-3 Fatty Acids 100mg). It is free of wheat, milk, egg, shellfish, peanuts and tree nuts. There are no artificial colors, flavors or ingredients.

The ingredients are:

Omega-3 Fish Oil
Capsule (gelatin glycerin and purified water)
Natural Lemon Flavor
Proprietary Antioxidant Blend (consisting of rosemary extract asorbyl palmitate and natural tocopherols)

Now, I've never had any side effects from taking Fish Oil, but I have heard that the supplement can leaves a fishy aftertaste in your mouth. The EarthWell Omega-3 Fish Oil has a lemon flavor, which will ellimante the unwanted fishy aftertaste. Overall, I have enjoyed taking EarthWell Omega-3 Fish Oil and I recommend it to others.

You can purchase the Omega-3 Fish Oil on Amazon.com.
