Petunia Skincare Review

As part of my "A New Me in 2015" plan, I have been trying out (well, more like experimenting) different cosmetic products. Yes, I'm well aware that this may seem a bit odd for a man, but ever since I passed the 30-year-old mark, I have started paying more attention to my skin.

A few weeks ago, I was sent three Pentunia Skincare items to review - Revitalize Eye Serum, Professional Hyaluronic Acid Serum and a 540 Derma Roller.

There are many reasons why I wanted to try the Revitalize Eye Serum, such as the dark circles and puffiness around my eyes. This type of serum is meant to revitalize your eyes by the use of Hyaluronic Acid, Sea Kelp and Vitamin C, which will help provide the correct nutrition that your skin needs.

The ingredients are: Sea Kelp Bioferment, Water, Sodium PCA, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Niacinamide, Alpha Bisbolol, Coconut Endosperm, Natural Active Peptides, Sodium Hyaluronate, Guaiazulene, Hesperidin Methyl Chalcone, Caffeine, Grape Seed Proanthocyanidins, Palmitoyl Tetrapedtide, Pomegranate Extract, Camosine, Camitine, Tetrahydrocurcuminoids Natto Gum, Ferulic Acid, Lycopene, Glutathione, Glutaredoxin and Superoxide Dismutase.

Unlike other eye creams, gels and serums that I have used, this one has a light orange color to it and it gives off a slight cooling feeling when I rubbed it around my eyes. Though I haven't been using it too long, I have seen an improvement around my eyes. Overall, I like the Revitalize Eye Serum and I plan on continuing to use it daily.

The Professional Hyaluronic Acid Serum is the first acid serum that I have tried out. It is meant to help reduce fine lines, crows feet and wrinkles. The three main ingredients in the serum is Vitamin C,
Hyaluronic Acid and Ferulic Acid. Hyalurnoic Acid helps retains moisture in your skin. Vitamin C regenerates cells, repairs free radical damage and stimulates collagen. Ferulic Acid will protect the skin from UVA/UVB rays.

The ingredients are: Water, Neroli (Citrus aurantium) Distilliate, Glycerin, Hyalurinic Acid, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phospate, Ferulic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Carprylyl Glycol and Sorbic Acid.

Overall, I have enjoyed trying out the Professional Hyaluronic Acid Serum as it feels great on my skin. While I haven't used it long enough to see any visible results, I'm still pretty impressed with it.

Honestly, I have never even heard of a derma roller before receiving the Petunia Skincare 540 Derma Roller in the mail. There are tiny needles on this roller. What do you do with the the roller? Well, you have to roll it over your skin at a steady speed continuously for about 10 times in all four directions. Then quickly add a skincare serum, gel or cream on the area. The derma roller is meant to get rid of acne scars, wrinkles, stretch marks and cellulite on your face and body.

I've been using the derma roller for the past two weeks on the stretch mark that is on my shoulder (an old spot) and I can see a slight difference in mark's appearance. I have been using a moisturizing cream and a hyaluronic acid serum after each roll. Overall, I have been impressed by the results so far.
