Review - NanoRazor 3" Ceramic Paring Knife & Peeler

One of my hobbies is cooking. No, I'm not a chef or anything like that. I learned to cook at early age (mostly self-taught) when my mother went back to work and I did most of the cooking for myself. Now as I an adult, I normally cook most of my own meals, though I do occasionally grab a Market-side chicken salad or a Cantina Power Bowl at Taco Bell.

Now the one thing that every amateur or professional chef needs in their kitchen is a reliable paring knife. Whether you are wanting to cut vegetable, fruits, bread or cold cuts, a sturdy paring knife can come in handy. Now you probably already own several flimsy pairing knives that you have gotten free at a bank or another business during some sort of promotions.

I have several these cheap knifes in a kitchen drawer and I don't use them very often as they don't cut very good. I purchased a higher priced paring knife at my local Walmart and it is sturdy, but it doesn't cut very good, so I was more than eager to try out the NanoRazor 3" Ceramic Paring Knife that comes with a free Peeler.

The ceramic black blade is pretty sharp and it easily chopped through a halfway-thawed chicken breast, which I easily cut into chunks with the little knife. I haven't had time to try to cut any vegetables yet, but I'm pretty sure if will cut great. The knife comes with a plastic sleeve. The bonus black blade peeler can be adjusted for a right or left handed user. The handle to the peeler is made out of hard plastic, just like the knife, but the plastic around the blade is a little flimsy and I'm not for sure how long it will last. As for the knife, I absolutely love it and I plan on tossing my other pairing knives into the trash.
