"A New Me In 2015" - Quit Tea Review & Giveaway

As I have mentioned before on my blog, a new year is the perfect time to start a new resolution, like starting a new hobby, dropping a few pounds and even quitting a bad habit. And trust me, everyone has a bad habit or two.

While searching for products to review for my "A New Me in 2015" posts, I received a pitch from Quit Tea, a herbal tea to help smokers to stop smoking. Though I'm not a smoker, I am a coffee and tea lover, so I was intrigued to try this tea.

The Quit Tea Starter Pack is currently priced at $39.99 on and contains 4 boxes of Quit Tea (20 bags per box), a 16 oz. Tumber and "Quit Smoking With Herbal Tea" by Josh Williams.

I was sent two sample boxes of the Quit Tea. The ingredients in each tea bag are:

Valerian Root
Sarsaparilla Root
Cinnamon Bark
Burdock Root
Red Clover Flower
St. Johns Wort Leaf & Flower
Ginger Root
Clvoe Bud
Licorice Root
Fennel Seed
Oregano Leaf
Black Pepper
Cayenne Pepper

The basic idea is whenever you have the urge to smoke, you just simply boil a cup of water, steep a bag of Quit Tea and sip the tea instead of smoking. This simple process needs to be repeated for at least 12 weeks.

Let me start out by mentioning that the first sip is a little jaw dropping for me as I wasn't expecting such a peppery taste. However with each additional sip the taste did grow on me. Like I said above, I'm not a smoker, but my late grandfather was a smoking addict and I have a few other relatives that are also chain smokers. I believe smoking a cigarette is a slow suicide; therefore, I wanted to try the Quit Tea and write this review with the intention of helping others.

Now there is no such thing as a magical cure and trust me, Quit Tea isn't a sure thing that will make you quit smoking over night. You need to make the decision to quit smoking yourself first. Herbal teas is just a healthier substitute. With time, Quit Tea can help calm down those urges to smoke. This tea has a strong peppery taste and after sipping it a bit, it can relax you. Overall, I think Quit Tea is a wonderful product for smokers or anybody trying to break a bad habit.
