Ozeri Wine Accessory Set

I know there are many wine enthusiast out there. Some of them love to sip a variety of wine flavors and brands, while others just like to collect wine bottles. Personally, I don't fall into any of these categories, as not the biggest drinker; occasionally drinking a glass around holidays and special occasions.

I work with several different brands on my blog and one these brands is Ozeri, which I receive a free product in exchange for my honest thoughts on it. I've seen several electric wine openers to be available to reviewers, but like I said, I'm not the biggest drinker, so I would never pick the opener to review.

That being said, I still agreed to review the Ozeri Wine Accessory Set. Why? Well, when I saw the picture of it, I thought it would be neat to review.

The Wine Accessory Set is shaped like an actually wine bottle, similar to a few other brand sets on the market. The bottle opens and closes by a magnetic locking mechanism. Inside the bottle are five wine accessories.

The five accessories are:
  • stainless-steel corkscrew with a bottle opener and a foil cutting knife
  • drip-stop collar
  • wine pourer & stopper
  • plug/cork
  • foil cutter
I have start out by saying I love that the container looks like a wine bottle. It is very stylish and will look great displayed on a kitchen counter or shelf. The stainless-steel corkscrew is very durable and easy to use. I easily pulled out the cork from a Barefoot Sweet Red Wine last night. The drip-stop collar is well made and would be great to use on a wine bottle around the holidays as it will help prevent any drips from landing on the tablecloth. The wine pourer and stopper is made of quality material and it would also be great use around the holidays. The stainless-steel plug/cork is made of great quality and has a rubber middle. I replaced the original Barefoot cork with it last night and it gracefully fits in the bottle, keeping the wine fresh. The only downside about this set is the plastic foil cutter. With everything else being mostly made of steel, it is a disappointment to have a cheap foil cutter. Honestly, the foil cutter broke on my first attempt to use it; splitting in half. I used a few pieces of electric tape to tape it back together and I was able to twist off the opening foil. It does work, but the cutter is very fragile compared to the rest of the set. Overall, I still like the Ozeri Wine Accessory Set. I think it would make a cute present or wedding gift for someone.

The Ozeri Wine Accessory Set retails at $29.95, but is currently available at Amazon for $16.95.

*Disclaimer - I received a complimentary Wine Accessory Set from Ozeri in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.
