Bamboo Cutting Boards Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Besides from reading, writing and drinking coffee, I do like to cook & bake; something I picked up a passion for when I was a teenager after my mother had went back to work and being an only child, it was up to me to cook supper.

That being said, I know my away around a kitchen and one of the most important things you need is a good cutting board. There are many different styles and colors to choice from. Some are made of wood and other are made from hard plastic.

Last week, I received a 3-piece Bamboo Cutting Boards Set from Bamboo Style, which retails at $37.99, but it is on sale on Amazon.com for $21.97.

What is the difference between Bamboo Cutting Boards and regular cutting boards?

Well, they are thicker and stronger than regular cutting boards. These will not warp, crackle or slide on kitchen surfaces. This set is made from an Eco-Friendly, FDA Approved and -FSC Certified Moso Bamboo, which is 15% stronger than maple and 33% lighter than oak.

I have owned a variety of different cutting boards over the years, which I have found the plastic boards can warp and the wooden boards can crack way to easily. The Bamboo Cutting Boards are lighter and thicker than my other cutting boards. Over the past week, I have used the boards to cut onions, peppers and potatoes. The boards are easy to clean with water and soap. Overall, I'm more than impressed with the high quality of the Bamboo Cutting Boards and I recommend them to others.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
