Ozeri Rev Digital Bath Scale with Electro-Mechanical Dial Review

I hoping everyone hasn't already given up on their New Year's Resolution just yet, I know I haven't, especially if your resolution was related to exercising, eating healthy and getting into shape. I have been exercising daily for over a month and I'm feeling great.

You don't need a whole lot of equipment for exercising, except for a good pair of cross-training shoes, dumbbells, a yoga mat and a few workout DVDs, but some people forget that they will need a reliable bath scale.

I'm not talking about a cheap scale from a dollar store, as I've had one of those before and it wasn't accurate. The best way to test to see if a scale is giving the correct weight is by weighing a five-pound bag of flour.

I do have a great digital scale in my bathroom, but I've been wanting one in the room where I workout in. I don't always remember to weigh myself at the start of the week in the bathroom, so I thought it would be easier to weight myself directly before I workout.

Last month, I got a chance to review the Rev Digital Bath Scale with Electro-Mechanical Dial from Ozeri, which is a scale with an old-fashioned dial reading and a digital reading. The digital LCD displays weights someone up to 400 lbs/180 kg by using GX sensors. There is a button on the back of the scale that change the LCD weight from lbs. to kg. There is also another button on the back that can activate an alarm, meaning it will alert you when 24 hours has passed since you last weighed.

My other scale is made out of plastic, but \ this scale has an oversized platform made of impact-resistant tempered glass. I like the design of scale, which features a digital reading and a dial reading. For a lot of scales, you have to tap on it before it will start weighing you, but with the Rev Digital Bath Scale, it will automatically give you the precise weight upon stepping on it. The scale runs on 3 AAA batteries which is included with the scale. The scale automatically turns itself off after you step off, helping conserve the batteries. Overall, I love the overall design of the Ozeri Rev Digital Bath Scale with Electro-Mechanical Dial. It is easy to use and gives you an exact weight reading. I highly recommend it.
