Ozeri Milk Frother Review

As many of my readers already know, I do love my morning cup of coffee. Living in a small town, there are no Starbucks or coffee shops (unless you count Sonic or McDonalds), so I'm stuck with either instant coffee (Nescafe is my favorite) or ground coffee, which I use a traditional coffee maker as the Keruig coffee makers are a little steep for me.

Luckily for me I had the chance to review the new Milk Frother from Ozeri. You may ask, "What is a Milk Frother?"

Well, a Milk Frother is a small battery-operated device that foams milk, beats eggs and mixes cocktails. It can also be used to whisk soups, dressings and sauces.

The elegant handheld battery-powered Ozeri Milk Frother is made from stainless steel, except for the plastic ends of the attachments' shafts and the mixer for the cocktails is also plastic. The motor spins at over 15,000 RPM and gives instant foaming results in 10 to 20 seconds to cold or hot drinks. There are four attachments included with the Milk Frother: 2 Milk Frothing Whisks, 1 Egg Beater and 1 Cocktail Mixer. Plus, there is a stainless steel stand. 2 AA batteries are included.

I have seen cappuccino machines, but I have never heard of a Milk Frother before trying the Ozeri Milk Frother out last week. If you have ever made instant hot chocolate, then you've probably noticed the chocolate mixture doesn't exactly come out smooth when stirred with milk. Well, I used the Milk Frother with a dark chocolate mix and skim milk (make sure the milk doesn't boil, but make sure it is heated to 140F) and within ten seconds my hot dark chocolate was smooth and foamy, just like in the cafes. The cleanup was very simple and fast. The Milk Frother has a lot of power for having only 2 AA batteries. Overall, I love the Ozeri Milk Frother and I can now make cappuccinos, espressos, lattes and hot chocolates anytime I want one.
