Review:

The Breath of Dawn is book three of the series that started with A Rush of Wings and Still of the Night. I have only read A Rush of Wings, in which I wasn't the biggest fan of at the time. I hesitated before I signed up to review the third book from Litfuse Publicity Group and Bethany House Publishing in exchange for an honest review.

Even though I hadn't read second book, I still figured out who was who and what was what. In the third entry, Morgan Spencer had a wonderful family and a successful business, but every thing changed the moment his wife died, leaving him as a widowed father to a two-year-old daughter, Livie. His daughter is his entire life, until fate changes things once again for him.

Quinn Reilly may be an eBay trader during tc
he day, but she hides a deep mysterious past. One that is now catching up to her as the man she put away years ago is being released from prison. Her profession helps her cross paths with Morgan and daughter. Overtime, she comes to care for the Spencer family, but then she starts to reeive threats from her past that could jeopardize her future.

After reading The Breath of Dawn, it is obvious that the author deeply cares for the characters that she has created. The plot is tight and interesting, but the emotional depth of each character is what kept me turning the pages. Surprisingly, I actually found myself enjoying the book and I regret not ever reading the second book in the series. I've read series where each book is about different characters, but it was nice to see a few characters from A Rush of Wings return and I now have a newfound respect for them. Overall, I really liked reading The Breath of Dawn and I recommend it others.
