Thanks
so much for having me here today! So, I was asked to talk about why I chose to
write for the Honey Creek line of books.
Most
of the time, what I enjoy most about writing is the ability to go wherever my
mind takes me. If I need a fancy restaurant, then *poof* I come up with one.
Writing for Honey Creek was a little different. The town and cast of secondary
characters already existed. I couldn’t simply make up a restaurant or develop a
new street for my characters to walk down. I had to stay within the established
boundaries of the town.
There
was an upside as well though. Sometimes the hardest part of a scene is naming a
restaurant or deciding where a person is going to work. With that done for me, I
could focus instead on the wants and needs of my characters.
Writing
Nursing Second Chances certainly allowed me the opportunity to work some of my
writing muscles. I had to change my fly-by-the-seat of my pants approach to
writing and be a little more organized with my process. In the end, I think I
found a nice mix between the goals of my individual story and the needs of the
community.
For
the reader, I think visiting Honey Creek has a lot to offer. Multiple authors
gives everyone something new to look at, but also revisit old friends in the
process. You can become invested in development of the town, but look forward to
something new on each visit.
Why
not stop by and hang out with us! We blog regularly at www.HoneyCreekBooks.com.

About the book:
Nursing
Second Chances
A
Honey Creek Sweet Romance
Kiersten
Hart left Honey Creek the minute she graduated high school and never looked
back. When her sister Jeanine is widowed and left to raise two children alone,
Kiersten moves back on a temporary basis. When Charles steps in and sweeps her
off her feet, she has to decide if the wounds from her childhood can be
mended.
After
his wife died, Charles Webber swore he’d never love anyone again. He buried
himself in his work and didn’t look up until he found out his son was sick.
Moving to Honey Creek was supposed to make things easier. Kiersten does little
to help keep things simple. Though he is taken with her, he soon realizes the
casual relationship they agreed on is turning serious. As their expiration date
approaches, Charles must decide if Kiersten is worth the risk.

About the author:
Maggie
Greene has often been described as having an overactive imagination. She’s not
convinced this is true, but does seem to spend a lot of her time daydreaming up
ways to make her characters fall in love. When she’s not buried in a pile of
books or typing away on her computer, she’s living out her very own
happily-ever-after with a very patient husband and a demanding cat.Maggie loves
to hear from readers. You can contact her at authormaggiegreene@gmail.com, through her website www.authormaggiegreene.com or on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/#!/AuthorMaggieGreene.
Thank you so much for being apart of the tour!
