Description
It's time for a brand-new year filled with cheerful quilts and pretty sewing projects shown in all their fabulous, full-color glory. You'll find a wide variety of designs to tempt you, including scrappy patchwork, simple embroidery, primitive accents, and more. Complete instructions for each project are included so you can sew along all 12 months with That Patchwork Place.

My Thoughts

It's not easy finding the perfect gift for everyone, as there's always that one person that's just difficult to buy for. Just in case if you fall in this situation this year for Christmas, I'm recommending getting them a wall calendar. There are hundreds of different wall calendars with a variety of themes, such as sports, television series, movies, cartoon characters, animals, landscape, hobbies, etc..

Today, I'm featuring the "That Patchwork Place 2018 Quilt Calendar." Published by Martingale, the calendar has 12 colorful quilt photos (25 pages total), along with a 28-page booklet that contains all the patterns & instructions to make all the projects in the calendar.

The quilt projects in the calendar are:

"Uniform Blue" by Carol Hopkins
(from Civil War Legacies III)
"Checkerboard Hearts" by Pat Sloan
(from Pat Sloan's Teach Me To Machine Quilt)
"Beth's Baskets" by Jo Morton
(from Jo's Little Favorites)
"Tulip Patch" by Kate Henderson
(from Striking Strip Quilts)
"Flying Geese" by Julie Hendricksen
(from Preserving History)
"Biscornu Patchwork Pincushions" by Adrienne Smitke
(from Sew Many Quilts)
"Venus" by Amy Ellis
(from Modern Heritage Quilts)
"Ziggy Quilt" by Jeanne Large and Shelley Wicks
(from Here Comes Spring)
"Sophisticated Hourglass" by Mary Etherington and Connie Tesene
(from Sew Charming)
"Pumpkin Harvest" by Jenifer Gaston
(from Primitive Style)
"Point of No Return" by Carol Staehle
(from 19th Century Patchwork Divas' Treasury of Quilts)
"Star Birds Table Runner" by Gail Pan
(from Christmas Patchwork Loves Embroidery)

The That Patchwork Place 2018 Quilt Calendar is a nicely put-together calendar. The monthly quilt photos are adorable. While I do like all the photos, my favorites would have to be the months of August, November, and December. The instructions in the patterns booklet are all easy to follow. The calendar would make a wonderful Christmas gift for any quilter, seamstress, or crafter.
