My Answer:
I have a habit of googling future book releases, so I'm already aware of what books I would like to read. I only accept books to review that I was already planning on buying myself. My late grandmother introduced me to the James Patterson books. She always bought the paperbacks, but her niece started sending her the hardback books, so she gave me her paperbacks. I've continued to buy each Patterson book release, but I'm falling behind. His newer books aren't as good as the earlier ones.

  1. The Patterson books I'm interested in reading are the ones in the Maximum Ride series. Of course, I will ALWAYS prefer to read novels involving paranormal or fantasy elements! This particular series has been much praised on YA/PNR/UF blogs.

  2. I have one Patterson book in my TBR pile but I think it is more in the romance genre. I will need to read it and check that out for sure though.

There are so many books to read that I think we should only read recommended books we really want to read, life is to short to read books to please others!

  3. Good idea to only accept for review the books you would buy.

My recommended book wasn't that great of a read either. I know what I like and should stick to those reads. :)

Kathryn...I agree with you about not reading to please others. I tend to do that at times and have to stop.

    Happy Hopping!!

  6. I have only read one James Patterson book and apparently it was not his best. I should find another one to read so I can see what everyone is raving about.
