Question of the week: What’s the ONE super-hyped book you’ll NEVER read?
My Answer: I never thought I read Fifty Shades of Grey, but I recently got a free e-book copy from livrada and now it is on my Kindle. The more buzz I hear about a new book, the more I want to check it out.
Question of the Week: Christmas in July! Someone gives you a gift card for two books (whatever that costs). What two books will you buy?
My Answer: I don't know. I already own all my favorite classics, but I wouldn't mind owning a first edition of Bram Stroker's Dracula and a first edition of The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson.

First editions- eek! I'd be frightened to even touch them.
Good choices, though ;)

Hi -only hyped book I can think of is Fifty Shades -doesn't matter how hyped a book is or even if it's a literary masterpiece, if it's not going to hold my interest then I'm not going to read it. I'm a new follower also. You have great posts on here.
I forgive you for falling for Fifty Shades of Grey - Just Kidding! A free copy is a free copy after all. Love your blog - new follower.
I did the same with 50 Shades, but didn't enjoy it.. however, I am glad that I can talk about it now that I have read it.
Sounds good, have a good week-end.

Shirley Jackson! Recently I had a discussion with co-workers regarding "The Lottery" and sadly none of them had heard of it. Now I'm older than most of them but only by a few years so I'm upset to know it's not reading material in schools anymore.
I was introduced to the story in high school English class and was haunted by it for years afterwards.
Great picks, those are a couple of my favorite classics too! :)
Old follower, just stopping by. :) Here's my Friday post!

Please, No Blog Awards. I'm honored to be nominated, but I really don't have time for it.
